The Brainerd 15U VFW team posted a 6-2 record over the past two weeks.
Brainerd swept Andover June 29 with 6-2 and 11-7 victories.
In Game One, Conrad Provost pitched tehw in as he allowed just two runs on six hits. Wil Carlson posted two hits for Brainerd.
In Game Two, Theo Lund pitched three scoreless innings of relief to help Brainerd rally for the win. Carlson and Charlie Johnson each had two hits.
Brainerd split with Elk River July 1 as it captured a 6-4 Game one win before losing 9-4 in the nightcap. Harry Carlson pitched the Game One win. Jackson Dwyer drove in two runs.

Johnson pitched the Game Two loss. He allowed four runs. Provost, Carlson and Tristan Dawson drove in the four Brainerd runs.
Brainerd fell 10-2 to Spring Lake Park. Carlson took the loss as he allowed six runs over five innings. Lund pitched a scoreless seventh. Spring Lake Park pitchers' registered 13 strikeouts.
Riley DeRosier and Dawson put together two quality at bats in the third inning to register Brainerd's two runs.
Brainerd swept Pillager July 12 with a 10-9 win and a 10-4 victory.
In Game One, Johnson pitched three innings of relief to earn the win. He allowed one run and struck out six. Carlson and Christian Augustine each had a double for Brainerd.
Carlson pitched the Game Two win. Augustine posted a two-inning save. Brainerd collected 11 hits with Lund, Andy Zuk, Reice Pikula each collecting two hits.
