Matt Karlson went 2-3 with five RBIs and earned the win on the mound as Brainerd rebounded from an 18-5 Game One loss to beat St. Cloud Red 8-6 in the nightcap Wednesday, June 12, in Brainerd.
Karlson struck out seven and allowed two runs on one hit and three walks in Game Two.
Cayden Kleffman was 2-3 with a run. Adam Jensen was 2-3 with two runs. Jack Schaefer drove in a run and Alex Jones was 1-3 with a run and an RBI. Noah Rushmeyer scored twice.
In Game One, Schafer was 1-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Cayden Kleffman was 1-2 with two runs and Mitchell Degen and Karlson each drove in a run.
