SARTELL — Eli Tautges went 2-3 for the Brainerd VFW 15U baseball team Wednesday, June 23, during a 7-0 loss to Sartell 2.
Logan Goetz, Brannon Amundson, Nate Herkenhoff, Keaton Lingenfelter and Alteyu Marcelo each had a hit for Brainerd.
Amundson was tagged with the loss. He allowed three runs, two earned, on four hits and two walks. He struck out three in four innings.
Asher Borle pitched the final two innings. He allowed four runs on three hits and two hit batters. He struck out one.
The 15U team will host Sauk Rapids 11 a.m. Monday, June 28, at Central Lakes College.
