Chris Karels went 2-for-3 and the Brainerd 16-year-old team scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh to nip Sartell 10-9 at Adamson Field Thursday.
McCale Peterson got the win. In 4.2 innings, he allowed four hits and three runs (2 earned) with six strikeouts and two walks.
