NISSWA-Drew Boland and Chris Pederson each homered twice for the Nisswa Lightning in a 20-0 victory over the St. Mathias Devils Sunday.
The both drove in six runs and scored three times. Boland added a double while going 3-5 and Pederson finished 3-3 with a sacrifice fly.
Tory Miller and Adam Hardy also homered and Morgan Shepherd and Sam Miller added doubles for the Lightning who saw nine of their 11 hits go for extra bases.
Scott Sand tossed six innings of two-hit shutout ball before giving the ball to Pederson for the final inning.
Evan Woitalla doubled and Josh Boser singled for the Devils' only hits.

Buckman 24, Brewers 6
BUCKMAN - The Buckman Billygoats tallied 12 runs in the third inning on 11
straight hits, including three home runs, on their way to a 24-6 drubbing of the Pierz Brewers Sunday.
Noah Boser blasted two homers in the inning, a two-run shot and a grand slam that capped off the scoring in the third. Matt Kummet also homered in the inning.

The Billygoats added seven runs in the sixth. Aaron Weber had a two-run double and Joe Kahl ripped a three-run homer.
Boser finished 3-4 with six RBIs and scored three runs. Kummet was 2-4 with five RBIs. Weber and Matt Tautges went 4-4 and 3-3 with doubles and Alex Funk also doubled.
Breck Weber was 3-3 with an RBI for the Brewers while Logan Meyer and Steve Kimman contributed doubles.

Aitkin 15, Cuyuna 13

AITKIN - Jake Lynn homered for Aitkin in a seven-run eighth inning rally that led to a 15-13 Steam victory over the Cuyuna Range Miners Sunday.
Aitkin trailed most of the game before going ahead 15-9 in the bottom of the eighth. Cuyuna rallied for four runs in top of the ninth including a three-run blast by Jake Zontelli, but fell short.
Sam Peterson finished 5-6 for Aitkin and winning pitcher Drew Nordean was
4-6. Brian Burman was 3-5 with a pair of homers and four RBIs. Lynn finished 2-3 with the homer and four RBIs.
Bryan Syrstad led the Miners going 5-6 with an RBI. Zontelli was 3-4 with the homer and three RBIs. Jamie Stahl and Lance Herbst each collected three hits.

PIERZ - Nate Janson went 2-3 with a triple, three RBIs and scored twice for the Lastrup Lakers who collared the Pierz Bulldogs 22-1 in the first game of a doubleheader Sunday.
Chad Weiss threw six innings of four-hit ball to earn the win striking out five and didn't walk a batter. Peter Schommer doubled for Pierz and Ryan Foreman went 2-3 with a double driving in the only run for the Bulldogs who hurt themselves by issuing 15
walks and committing six errors.

PIERZ - Brad Meyer went the distance scattering four hits while striking out five and didn't walk a batter for the Lastrup Lakers who completed their sweep of the Pierz Bulldogs with an 8-1 win Sunday.
Meyer helped his cause going 3-5 at the plate with an RBI and run scored. Chad Weiss finished 3-4 with a triple, stolen base and three runs for the Lakers.
Ryan Foreman was 2-3 with a double and scored the only run for the Bulldogs. Brandon Dickman drove in the only Pierz run with a double in the seventh.
