Victory League Baseball: Jelacie's grand slam sparks Rebels

ROYALTON -- Nick Jelacie went 4--for-6 with a grand slam for the Fort Ripley Rebels who defeated the Royalton Riverdogs 15-0 in seven innings Saturday.

ROYALTON - Nick Jelacie went 4--for-6 with a grand slam for the Fort Ripley Rebels who defeated the Royalton Riverdogs 15-0 in seven innings Saturday.

Brett Kramer earned the win allowing just two hits and striking out seven over five innings before surrendering the mound to Logan Kalis.

Kalis also hit a bases-clearing double and Bill Sather was 4-4 with a double. Jack Hegarty finished 3-4 with a pair of walks, two RBIs and two runs scored.
Nathan Psyck doubled and Nate Benusa had the only other hit for Royalton.

NISSWA-Tyler Wittwer's walk-off grand slam was one of four Nisswa Lightning home runs during a 15-4 seven-inning win over the Royalton Riverdogs Friday.

Jeremiah Piepkorn, Drew Boland and Adam Hardy also cleared the fence for the Lightning.
Piepkorn finished 3-4 adding a double while driving in two and scoring twice. Boland was 1-1, walked three times and finished with four RBIs and three runs. Sam Miller contributed a triple.

Kyle Schaible secured the win pitching the first six innings before being relieved by Sam Miller.

Brady Moulzolf paced Royalton going 3-4 with a pair of runs and Nathan Psyck added a double.
