CROSBY-Reed Olander went 2-for-4 with a double and scored three runs, including the game-winner on an error, to help the Cuyuna Range Miners rally past the Pierz Bulldogs 6-5 Saturday.
In the bottom of the ninth, Olander led off with a single and stole second. On a Jake Zontelli fly out, Olander tagged up and went to third. The throw from the outfield went into the dugout, and Olander was awarded home.
Zack Houle doubled and drove in a run for the Miners, who trailed 5-0 at one point.
Nick Herold drove in two runs for the Bulldogs.

Aitkin 9, Brewers 8
PIERZ-Jake Lynn went 3-for-5 with a triple and three RBIs as the Aitkin Steam edged the Pierz Brewers 9-8 at Hellie Field Saturday.
Kyle Lynn was 3-5 with a double and two RBIs. Sam Peterson and Brian Burman each hit two doubles for the Steam. Drew Nordean and Austin Krohn each added two hits for Aitkin.

PIERZ-Brian Kiel pitched a shutout and collected three hits as the Pierz Brewers blanked their East Division rivals, the Lastrup Lakers, 10-0 in seven innings Saturday at Hellie Field.

Kiel allowed five hits, struck out three and walked three. At the plate he was 3-for-4 with two RBIs.
The Brewers' Dylan Kummet, Greg Pohlkamp, Breck Weber and Mike Poser each had two hits.

Lastrup 13, Royalton 2
ROYALTON-Nate Janson went 3-for-3 with a double and RBI and the Lastrup Lakers cruised to a 13-2 win over the Royalton Riverdogs in seven innings Saturday.
Brad Meyer tossed a complete game for Lastrup. Meyer allowed five hits and two walks with with one strikeout.
Mitch Woitalla, Brad Meyer and Paul Herman had multi-hit games for Lastrup.

Cole Jendro's solo homer was the offensive highlight for the Riverdogs. Ryan Snyder was 2-4.
