Volleyball: Hubbard named to all-state team

Lydia Hubbard of Pequot Lakes was honored by the Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association.

Pequot Lakes senior Lydia Hubbard was named Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association Class 2A first-team All-State/

The middle hitter for the 11-1 Patriots posted a team-high 167 kills and 24 ace serves. She added three set assists, 58 digs and 22 blocks. Hubbard was earlier named Brainerd Dispatch Player of the Year.

She was joined on the Class 2A first team with Jaidyn Brower (Stewartville, senior, setter), Kira Fallert (Concordia Academy, senior, outside hitter), Estelle Haugen (Southwest Christian, junior, outside hitter), Jordyn Hilgemann (Marshall, senior, outside hitter), Delaney Issendorf (Lake City, senior, outside hitter), Ella Kiebel (Maple Lake, junior, setter), Erin Lamb (Stewartville, senior, middle hitter), Emily Meier (Marshall, senior, middle hitter), Miah Monahan (Glencoe-Silver Lake, senior, outside hitter), Ashlyn Olson (New London-Spicer, senior, right-side hitter), Paige Sheehan (North Branch, senior, setter), Paige Thibault (Watertown-Mayer, senior, outside hitter), Brooke Weichbrodt (Concordia Academy, senior, setter).
