SARTELL-Courtney Russell tallied 10 kills and five digs during the Brainerd Warriors 3-0 Central Lakes Conference loss to the Sartell Sabres Tuesday.
Cara Helgeson added 21 set assists for the Warriors and Kaylee Johnson 14 digs.
"We played a very solid Sartell team tonight with a very good setter," said Warriors head coach Jared Diem. "We played very well tonight. We would have beaten many other teams the way we played tonight. Our serve receive was good and for the most part our block was there.
"Being our last regular season game I want to thank my exceptional coaching staff; from middle school on up. They all love volleyball and developing volleyball here in Brainerd."
