DULUTH — Brainerd’s Meghan Smith tallied a total of 37 kills, 24 digs, five blocks and an ace serve as the Warriors went 4-1 to place second in the Duluth East Invite Saturday, Sept. 25.
Brainerd defeated Nevis, Calumet, Princeton and Grand Rapids before falling 2-1 to Forest Lake in the championship round.
Warrior Kate Stadum added 31 kills, 28 digs, six ace serves and five blocks for Brainerd, while Myah Nelson recorded 64 set assists.
