Madison Schmitz collected 14 digs, 23 set assists, six kills and two aces.

Pillager’s Sadie Hopman finished with 13 kills, six digs, five blocks and an ace and Julie Ewald had 24 set assists, 12 digs, 3 kills, two ace serves and a block.

PEQUOT LAKES — Lydia Hubbard turned in 22 kills, a block and four digs for the No. 1 Pequot Lakes Patriots who were upset 3-0 by the second-seeded Perham Yellowjackets in a South Subsection 8-2A tournament Friday, Nov. 20.

Rita Ganley contributed 26 set assists and Ella Pfeffer had 22 digs.

It was the first loss of the season for the Patriots who finished 11-1.
