GRAND RAPID-Riley Andres netted a pair of goals for the Brainerd Warriors in a 3-1 win over the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks in a non-conference game Friday, Dec. 21.
After a scoreless first period, Andres and Jack Olson punched in even-strength goals in the second and Andres added a short-hander in the third.
Warrior goalie Luke Saiko lost his bid for a shutout when Maccrea Murphy slipped one past him with 24 seconds left.
Brainerd outshot Grand Rapids 35-27.
