SARTELL-Courtney Russell posted a team-high 13 points for the Brainerd Warriors who were beaten 59-57 on a buzzer beater by the Sartell Sabres in a Central Lakes Conference game Thursday, Jan. 3.
Gretta Mahowald sank the winning basket on a pass-in as time expired for the Sabres.
Also reaching double figures for the Warriors were Myah Nelson with 11 and Olivia Tautges with 10.
