McCale Peterson struck out 11 and fired a 3-hitter and collected two hits as the Brainerd Warrior sophomores blanked Rocori 9-0 in Game One of a doubleheader Thursday.
Peterson went all seven innings and walked only one. Colin Kleffman doubled and finished 2-for-4 and David Benson drove in two runs.
In Game Two, Kleffman pitched a complete game with seven strikeouts and no walks in a 5-1 victory. He allowed no earned runs and four hits. Max Boran, Peterson, Chris Karels and Bryce McConville each had two hits.
