Courtney Russell drained 16 points for the Brainerd Warriors as they fell 51-49 to the Moorhead Spuds in a Section 8-4A matchup Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Brainerd High School.
Ally Brezinski and Olivia Tautges each added eight points as the Warriors drop to 8-13 overall.
"We lost a heartbreaker tonight," said Warriors head coach Troy Nelson. "The girls played very hard and battled throughout the game."
