Returning from mid-season surgery to her hand, Kaitlin Spar finished her Central Lakes College Raiders career with 19 points and seven rebounds in a 77-54 Northern Division loss to Hibbing in the season finale Saturday at Brainerd.

The two teams battled for the fourth and final playoff spot in the state tournament, but the Raiders couldn't overcome health issues and a depleted roster.

"We were short handed again and pretty banged up," said head coach Randy Swanhorst. "Our kids fought hard again."

Tanisha Beetso collected 14 points, while Taylor King netted 12. The Raiders shot 39 percent as a team.

CLC finishes with a 4-8 division record.
