Brainerd High School graduate and Mayville State junior forward Kylee Heurung was named to the NAIA All-American second team.
Heurung played in all 31 games this past season averaging a team-high 14.8 points and 9.5 rebounds. She added a team-high 56 steals. She shot 39.7% from the field, 29% from 3-point and 79.1 percent from the line.
Mayville State finished 25-6, including 11-3 in the conference. The Comets captured their second straight regular-season championship and won the NSAA Conference Tournament. They received an automatic bid to the national tournament.
