MADISON, S.D.-Kylee Heurung of Mayville State (N.D.) was chosen as the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Women's Basketball Player-of-the-Week, announced by the conference office Monday.
Heurung, a 5-foot-10 sophomore forward from Brainerd averaged 21.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game as Mayville State (N.D.) collected a pair of North Star
conference home victories.
She finished with 19 points, six rebounds and two assists in MSU's 75-55 victory over Dickinson State (N.D.). She followed up with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in the Comets'
64-55 win over Presentation (S.D.). For the week, Heurung shot 13-of-26 from the field (50 percent) and went 6-of-16 from the 3-point line. She converted 10-of-12 free throws.
