Women’s College Basketball: Raiders fall to Northland to finish the season

THIEF RIVER FALLS — Lillee Hardee hit for 18 points and Maggie Fellerman added 15 points and nine rebounds in their final game as Raiders as No. 4 Central Lakes fell to No. 1 Northland 74-52 in the semifinals of the Region 13B Tournament Saturday, Feb. 29.

The Raiders finished their season with a 9-16 overall record, but the team qualified for their third straight tournament berth.

In Saturday’s game, the Raiders were outscored in points off the bench by an 18-0 margin.

Haley Youngbauer and Megan Lanhart each made key contributions as first year players and Sophomores Hardee, Fellerman, Paige Wallevand and Kali Mamenga achieved the goal of back-to-back tournament appearances.
