Paige Wallevand and the Central Lakes College Raiders recovered from a slow start in the first half, outscoring Minnesota State Fergus Falls 43-30 in the second half, on their way to a 71-62 victory on first day of the CLC Invite Friday, Dec. 21.
After going 1-for-7 with three points in the first half, Wallevand led the second-half charge with 15 points and eight rebounds. She finished with 18 points.
Liz Anderson also finished in double figures for CLC with 12 points.
Kelsie Weite's 10 rebounds led the Raiders as they outrebounded the Spartans 55-44 and improved to 6-3 overall.
