Women’s College Basketball: Raiders score road win in Hibbing

HIBBING — The Central Lakes College Raiders led 36-30 at halftime, then held off a Hibbing charge to stop a four-game losing streak with a 70-68 win over the Cardinals Friday, Feb 7.

Lillee Hardee tallied 19 points and Paige Wallevand followed with 18 points as the Raiders shot 39% from the field.

The Cardinals tied the game at 68 late in the fourth quarter. After calling a timeout, CLC’s Haley Youngbauer converted a layup with eight seconds left for the final basket.

Maggie Fellermand grabbed 10 rebounds while scoring 14 points and Youngbauer dished four assists.
