HIBBING-Cheyanne Johnson scored 23 points, including 3-of-5 from 3-point to lead the Central Lakes College Raiders to a successful weekend with Saturday's 66-50 victory over Hibbing.
As a team the Raiders shot 46 percent from 3-point range and 51 percent from the field.
A hobbled Kaitlin Spar finished with 13 points and Aleia Lupa also added 13 points for CLC.
Defensively, CLC held the Cardinals to 31 percent shooting and 23 percent from behind the arc.
"Wow, this group is impressing me," said head coach Randy Swanhorst. "Kaitlin has three different injuries going and Cheyanne has a muscle pull. Our seven kids really competed again today. We shot the ball really well all weekend."

"I couldn't be more impressed with this group," said Swanhorst. "We are now in fourth place for a playoff spot. Our message is to expect that and we are striving to be consistent."
