Shooting at a blistering 52 percent with four players in double figures, the Central Lakes College Raiders ran past Vermilion 83-56 in a Northern Division matchup on Wednesday evening.
Kelly Pearson returned to the lineup after missing two games and scored 23 points to lead the way. She was followed by Kaitlyn Spar with 19. Marka Baker also totaled 12 points and Mackenzie Holst added 10.
The Raiders led by a 15-7 margin in points off of turnovers. Behind Pearson's nine rebounds, CLC outrebounded the Ironwomen 44-37.
Vermilion entered the game with an 0-2 record in the division and 2-11 overall. The Raiders moved to 2-1 in division play and 7-6 on the season.
