Seven Brainerd Warriors and four other area wrestlers have advanced to the semifinals following the opening rounds of the Paul Bunyan Invite Friday, Dec. 13, at Brainerd High School.
Still alive in the championship bracket for Brainerd are Isaiah Germann at 106 pounds, Isaiah Jillson at 120, Kyler Eschenbach at 132, Atlie Danielson at 138, Gabe Wagner at 145, Forest Gibson at 195, and Cade Barrett at 220.
The Warriors are sitting second in the team standings following Day One with 70.5 points behind Foley’s 85.5. Little Falls is tied for seventh with Buffalo and Pierz is in 14th place.
Advancing to the semis for the Flyers are Austin Litke at 106, Simon Pantzke at 152, and Gabe Nagel at 170.
Trevor Radunz from Pierz moves on at 120.
