The No. 12-ranked Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale/Parkers Prairie Raiders grabbed the No. 1 seed for the Section 6-1A wrestling tournament.
The Raiders first match will be against the winner of the No. 9 Breckenridge Cowboys vs. No. 8 Staples-Motley Cardinals. That match will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Verndale. The quarterfinals will begin 20 minutes after the conclusion of that match
Wadena-Deer Creek is the No. 10 seed and will open against No. 7 Barnesville 6 p.m. at Underwood. The winner of that match will face No. 2 seeded Ottertail Central in the quarterfinals.
The other quarterfinal matches will pit No. 6 Park Rapids at No. 3 West Central and No. 5 New York Mills at No. 4 Border West.
The section semifinals and finals will be 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15 at Wheaton.
