Jesse Shearer of West Fargo High School, grandson of Wally Thompson, Staples, and Marian Thompson of Motley and daughter of Staples-Motley graduate Lynda (Thompson) Shearer, won his third straight North Dakota state wrestling title Saturday.
Shearer, whose brother Jordan won six-straight state titles, used a pin in the championship match to finish his high school career with 231 career victories.
