Nisswa voters overwhelmingly in Brekken's camp, ousting incumbent. Brekken loses to Thiede in most precincts, but wins election.

A 19-year-old Willmar man is in custody following a police chase Friday, Nov. 2, that began in Nisswa and reached speeds of 100 mph during the pursuit. 
The chase started in Nisswa, made its way into Baxter and returned to Nisswa, where the suspect crashed into a tree.
