A snow storm during Christmas week blanketed the area with 8-10 inches of snow. Rain will develop this evening over far southern portions of the Northland and will mix with or change over to snow as it moves north overnight. Snowfall up to 2 inches is expected over northern Minnesota. The precipitation will become all rain during the day Friday and be most likely over northern Minnesota.
