While the selection of Ultra HD DVDs and streaming content on providers like Netflix are still limited, they are growing in popularity as 4K Ultra HD TVs become more affordable and more common. 4K Ultra HD TVs offer four times the picture resolution of 1080p HDTVs. (“HD” stands for “high definition.”)
