County announces shelters and resources for those without power.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident, reported at 8:19 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, in Moose Lake Township, north of Motley.
Drills and exercises at the Joint Emergency Response Training Center will include simulated responses to rail car leaks, pipeline incidents, tanker truck crashes and other hazmat transportation scenarios.
Good Neighbors EMS Fund will use a $175,000 award from Sourcewell to buy and distribute essential equipment to volunteer responders throughout Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd and Wadena counties.
