Achieving regionally significant park status with the Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission opens doors to funding opportunities while also putting the facilities “on the map” for greater exposure to nature enthusiasts, the executive director explained.
In addition to the fat tire bikes, the trails could be used for other winter outdoor recreation like snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and hiking all able to use the compacted snow trail.
The Koronis Kafe is like a drive-in on the lake. Customers arrive by pontoon and fishing boats to enjoy short order goods right from the grill, along with a wide selection of treats available on this converted houseboat.
