LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) - Sean Hannity continued to push a conspiratorial story about murdered Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich after Fox News retracted a story that linked the crime to WikiLeaks. "All of you in the liberal media: I am not Fox.com or FoxNews.com. I retracted nothing," Hannity said on his Tuesday radio show. Hannity has in recent days promoted an unproven theory that Rich was killed in exchange for providing internal documents to Wikileaks, prompting statements of outrage from his family.
LOS ANGELES - Milo Yiannopoulos, the conservative media personality under fire for comments he made that appeared to condone sex with minors, has resigned from Breitbart News, the platform that has helped boost his popularity on the far right. "I would be wrong to allow my poor choice of words to detract from my colleagues important reporting, so today I am resigning from Breitbart, effective immediately. This decision is mine alone." At a press conference Tuesday, Feb. 21, Yiannopoulos, 32, said that he used a "poor choice of words" in a 2016 interview.
LOS ANGELES—President Trump accused much of the news media of being "out of control," saying at a White House press conference Thursday, Feb. 16, that "many reporters will not tell you the truth." "The press has become so dishonest that if we don't talk about it we are doing a tremendous disservice to American people," Trump told reporters. His comments came amid reports that members of Trump's campaign team were in contact with Russian officials. Various stories in the Washington Post, The New York Times and CNN have cited unnamed intelligence and other sources.

LOS ANGELES —Summer Zervos, a contestant on "The Apprentice," appeared at a press conference with attorney Gloria Allred on Tuesday to announce a lawsuit against President-elect Donald Trump for defamation. Before the election, Zervos accused Trump of inappropriate sexual advances as she sought his career advice at a meeting at the Beverly Hills Hotel. But she did not file a lawsuit at that time.
