LITTLE FALLS — The Morrison County Sheriff's Office Emergency Management will take part in the statewide tornado drills at 1:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Thursday, April 16, as part of Severe Weather Awareness Week scheduled April 13-17.
Outdoor warning sirens will sound in a simulated tornado warning. The tornado drills allow everyone in the community to practice their emergency plans for tornadoes, a news release stated. The first drill is intended for institutions and businesses. The second drill is intended for second shift workers and families. There is no such thing as an “all-clear” siren, the county stated.
