The winter storm warning has been extended through Monday west due to continuation of light snow and strong winds by the National Weather Service in the Twin Cities.
A winter weather advisory has been added for central Minnesota into west central Wisconsin for light freezing rain/drizzle tonight and accumulating snow Monday.
And a winter storm watch was added for west central Wisconsin for potential of 6+” of snow Monday and Monday night.
A powerful winter storm will continue into Monday.
- Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are expected across far west central Minnesota through tonight, with additional ice accumulations up to two tenths of an inch.
- A light glaze of ice is possible in central and east central Minnesota tonight, and accumulating snow is expected for most of the area Monday into Monday night.
